I've taken my mom to this restaurant a few times, but I’m not a fan of the complimentary valet parking anymore. The burgers are always a safe bet, as are the ribs and mashed potatoes. However, I won't be ordering the fish and chips again. On the bright side, the French onion soup was excellent. I really enjoy the atmosphere there; it's relaxed and not pretentious at all. With low-hanging beams that I'm sure I’ll bump into one of these days, the ambiance feels welcoming. Families bring their kids, couples come for dates, friends gather to hang out, and older couples celebrate their anniversaries here. The barn truly is a place for everyone.
One of the last restaurants left that hasn 't lost its original atmosphere and identity that kept them in business for decades. If you really want to eat like a local when you are in town the Barn is the only place left to go. It 's not often you can label a restaurant true Americana but this is one of them. Eli the owner is always there greeting you and making sure you 're enjoying your meal. Parking: Parking can be a little tight because they are always busy but if you don 't drive a giant SUV you should not have an issue.

The bars are my way to hang around with the crew. It can be for a nice date as well as for a lively place to have a few drinks with friends. From the cool bands, to the great amout of the sports program on some TVs, you will not be bored in this place. Also the drinks are perfect, and excellent price, the food is also excellent, including a good selection for those like me who watch the carbohydrates.
