Table was sticky and dirty, “clean water” glasses has lipstick on them, when I pointed this out to the waitress she asked what I wanted her to do, I asked her to bring me another glass. Side plates for the pretzels had dirty napkins on...them. Disturbing seeing as we are in COVID. No service, all items are ordered and paid for in advance through your mobile phone with a credit card surcharge. On the menu there is an additional charge on Sunday. The menu has completely changed no sausages available only on the kids menu, no tasting plater (pork belly, sausage, snitzel, sourkrout) only burgers, snitzel, token salads. I am at this place right now. They don’t have table service (at least not today) and you need to go to the bar to place your order. So, I went to pick up my second beer and when I return my beer glass (which still had some beer left) was removed along with the table number placard that they hand it over when you place your order. On top of that my table has been given to someone else and the waitress isn’t bothered to even care. Being a Friday night the place is full and I have to look for another table which was extremely difficult being a Friday night. It’s been close to minutes I ordered a schnitzel and it’s still ‘coming soon’... it wasn’t worth the wait. Don’t think would like to back....
we had a wonderful lunch in the Bavarian. cocktails were delicious and the food was sensational. jorge, our waiter was very attentive and helpful. other employees also seemed very friendly. we had a lot of carving and spices that were delicious....The hearty and sweet pulps were to die, for also I was decorated with the presentation of my dessert. again thanks to the Bavarian for a wonderful Mother's Dinner. we're coming back.
The food was a generous serve but at the expensive end of the spectrum. There was a reasonable choice of beer. However the extra surcharges made for a very expensive night. The public holiday surcharge and then a credit card charge was just too much,...around $10 extra in charges. Interestingly enough the Pizza bar that shares the premises was much more realistic in their charging.

probably better than pub food, but not cordon bleu on some wise. generally served and a very good home wine for $7 (each,! we had more than 1)! the total bill was less than I paid on Sunday at a ponsh for 1 overcooked fish. location service somewhat slow at the beginning, but it was early. no credit card supplement, thoroughly recommend
I ordered their special which was a chicken burger and fries. I also ordered the wings which I personally thought were a rip off for Service is poor because there is no service... no table service and I had to line up for ages to order drinks then food and then ask for a takeaway container.
We had experienced lunch here just after last New Year 's during our summer trip and everything was finer. The German style pork sausages were robust and tasty. My wife and I had quite a good 'pub style ' experience overall.
Two locally brewed beers for $10 at happy hour is great value. Nice place to sit upstairs and watch the hustle and bustle go by downstairs. It was busy on a Wednesday night and looks like people were getting food to go.

quite standard fair, was cozy at a wet and rainy night. the food was delivered quickly, the wings were quite dry. all contactless anx order done by the app, time to return to normal service.
