the mount pub down blossom street is pub I am always looking forward to a visit on every trip to york I take. a great looking pub,interior is excellent, an island style serving can dominates the main room, pubby decor and furniture, tvs and large screens to enjoy the. sport and many seating options and all accommodated in a wonderful looking Victorian pub building. we were here on a Thursday night, we ordered a carling camp everyone, these were served in excellent condition, we just stepped back, out and took in the big pub we were in. my camp was in order, not my usual drinker, more a real ale and craft bier fan himself, but the beer was cold, parked and very tasty, sure cut by the thirst,...
as a local we drink regularly here, the pub has a nice atmosphere with a good mix of local and visitors, nicole ben are very welcoming, there is a good choice of drinks to reasonable trips. they show live sports and also have live music some evenings
This pub is the best I have visited while working in York. The landlady and landlord are incredibly kind and welcoming. The patrons are friendly and helpful. The food is excellent, I would rate it 10/10.

nicole made my friends and I feel so welcome at our first visit, the mount has become our regular visit in the pub of the choice. the prices are good and the atmosphere is always interesting.
We always call in here when we visit York, it's not touristy at all and is a proper old fashioned boozer like our own local, Neck Oil on tap which is a bonus.
beautifully cooled pub, friendly atmosphere, great staff. the best place to come and the fry away a few after work.
