Three girlfriends and I meet up once or twice a year and The Bayview is our venue of choice. I usually have the fish and chips, which are usually delicious. This time I had the cheese burger ($19.50) and was disappointed. The bun was small and a bit dry and the addition of pulled brisket as well as a mince patty was just weird. The chilli fries accompanying it were ridiculously salty and not very spicy. Maybe it's just me because 2 of my friends also ordered this and enjoyed it. Brought friends here cz the food is great but then I realised the menu had changed so was excited to try that as the previous menu was delicious but was so disappointed as the new menu lacked so much flavour, not even salt and pepper.
