The Beast Next Door

Updated review from February 2022: I visited the Beast Next Door during a week's Happy Hour with some friends. I have beer and oysters. Beer was good. Oysters was okay, it's a good value, but I didn't like the oyster meat to be decomposed from the shell. Usually, if you get oysters, you would use this small fork to release the meat from the peel, the meat has already been dissolved on all 6 of them. Didn't give me the impression that they were so fresh. I guess I can't complain because it's cheap, but I've eaten many oysters in my life and never experienced it.

This place was good. It looks beautiful, spacious and solid decoration around when you go. But they sat on a table that was just used and was sticky and was not thoroughly cleaned. The drink I got had raspberry liquor, which was not pleasant. They were friendly enough to make a new drink to replace it, so I appreciated this service. Overall, it had the smell and feeling of a sticky tavern bar.

I love everything about this place super cozy. The lighting is just perfect. The food is great the ambience the people the service. John and Jonathan always make us feel so comfortable and they’re very good at making drinks. We usually have the cheese plates. Everything is good.

I like the ambience here much and the decor, it is a rustic small place with really good eclectic beverage selection. Definitely a good date spot to get drinks. Personally, I've never been super impressed with the menu, so I give it a 4.

very attentive and nice server. the drinks are good, but I had better. will come back for the ambiente and I could also taste the food.
