My fiancé and I were looking for a good burger and wanted to try something new; none of us have been here since before it became the Beerhouse. What a fantastic experience! You have a beautiful outdoor terrace room, a timely and friendly service and the food was DELICIOUS. Burgers were juicy, tasty and cooked to order, he had the crack and shin and I had the Hawaiians. The toppings were fresh and delicious. Burgers were 1/2 lb.; we both had to save for later half (they were also delicious the second time around! My wife and I were looking for a new neighborhood bar and stopped here. We sat on the patio on a very nice fall day. We received prompt service and talked a lot about all the craft beers. My wife took the recommendation from our waiter and she really liked her craft beer. I went for the Corona with lime. We had appetizers of onion rings and tacos. I did not think I would like the thick onion rings but they were very good and my wife said they were the best she has ever had. The tacos were delicious too. We are going back Friday as my wife said I think we just found our favorite neighborhood bar.

The best burger I have had in Des Moines. The Popper was fantastic. The beer selection is fantastic. My server was great and the Sunday Football atmosphere is unparrelled. I will be back for sure, probably every Sunday we are in town during football season as both of our teams are out of market. Well done Beerhouse, well done.

Some of the best beer selection in the city. Always great local breweries at the entrance. Burgers and pizza should also die. The passion of the kitchen staff clearly shows in the high-quality kitchen and the front of the house staff is always friendly. Go for trivia night for an even more fun atmosphere! We had Flatbread and the Wasabi Cobb Salat. Both very good and the salad gave up my sins! I had the Reclaimed Rails High Trestle yeast wheat and it was delicious. The staff worked on 4. July hard and no complaints.

Waitress awesome. Drinks awesome. Food (pizza rolls and buffalo chicken mac n cheese pizza shockingly divine) awesome. 2 times here both times very satisfied.

I stopped for a beer. The moats and the staff made it home. Ends with two. Great place. I highly recommend it.
