I went to this historical pub for dinner. The service at the bar was just okay, with two young girls more focused on their conversation than serving customers. The beer was good, but it's hard to go wrong with beer. They only serve pies, and while the meal was nicely presented, it wasn't hot enough and we've had better pies in London. Overall, it might be a better place to grab a beer rather than have a full meal.
What a beautiful gem this pub is tucked away in the city. Great drinks selection and the pies are to die for. The landlady and the bar staff are very welcoming and very attentive to detail. Decor is beautiful with wooden beams. Very clean and will definitely return as last Thursday was a great atmosphere.
Lovely place with amazing Ales The Guinness as well was marvellous and so creamy ! Friendly staff too, especially the Landlady Kamila was extremely accommodating ! Definitely a must visit pub if you are in the city ! Did I mention how incredible the pies are ? Delicious!!

Walked for ages trying to find a traditional pub and finally found this place. Nice features and immaculate toilets. Lovely staff and excellent crispy pie for lunch. Good selection of beers and prices reasonable for central London.
We had a great time with friends at this restaurant with a very nice atmosphere. The selection of beer was impressive and we would definitely come back again. Special shout out to the bartender, Daragh!
A classic and charming old pub in the City of London. The landlady, Kamila, was very friendly and welcoming. The atmosphere was really nice. I would definitely recommend this place.
