We walked in and one member of our group went up to the bar to ask for a table just to be ignored. After standing and having waiters walk past us without a word for almost 10 minutes, the first thing we were told was that they were trying to seat a group at a table we were standing vaguely close to. I unfortunately can’t say anything on the quality of the food since we didn’t get served before we gave up. Plenty of people sitting in the pub stared at us and gave us weird looks, which isn’t the fault of the pub, but it gave us the same vibe as the staff: “you’re not local, so we don’t want you here.” DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU’RE A TOURIST
This place is perfect, it brings together everything a restaurant needs, a warm atmosphere, caring owners, know-how, and good ingredients. Our dish was delicious and plentiful, fresh flowers on our table as well as all the sauces we needed. We didn't manage to finish our meal, so they packed what we had left in a doggy bag, which fit perfectly. It is with regret that we will no longer be able to return there because of the distance that separates us. We thank the restaurant for this service worthy of a renowned restaurant.
I had a great experience at this restaurant. They offer a variety of delicious food and a good selection of beer. The menu is extensive and the portion sizes are generous, perfect for someone like me who loves to eat. The service was quick, attentive, and very friendly, especially considering my party consisted of three out-of-towners. Overall, a fantastic dining experience.
I have previously dined at this restaurant for Sunday lunch, and it was decent. However, it seems like there is a new cook, not a chef, as the food this weekend was terrible. The steaks were tough and overcooked, and the chips had a strange taste of old fish fat. It's a shame because the restaurant had potential.

Unfortunately only 1 Star. Arrived at 16.00 on a Sunday only to be told kitchen was closed even though they serve a Roast untill 16.30..so we left.. Service got a 4 because he did go and ask.. Shame really..
We have just returned from a lovely lunch at the Bell Inn in Minster, Thanet Both meals were plentiful, delicious and excellent value for money. Staff friendly, helpful and courteous
The food at this restaurant is exceptionally good, with generous portions and very friendly service. Overall, it's a really great experience.
