The Bird at Birtle

We all enjoyed the evening however we found the restaurant very noisy which made conversation very difficult. The room was uncomfortably warm and when we mentioned this to a waiter we were told that the air conditioning could have been switched on, if we had mentioned it earlier. We are all vegetarian so unfortunately the main course was limited to only 2 choices. The food we had was good. My Happy Birthday plate was a lovely touch.

The food was enjoyable, and while some menu items offered good value for money, others felt overpriced. Unfortunately, we were hurried to leave our table without any prior notice, even though we still had wine left. It's a shame, as we didn't get the chance to consider dessert and are unsure where we would have enjoyed that if we had decided to order.

Lovely night with nice food. The only two things that could be better was 1. Size and quality of start(scallops) the scallops were small and over cooked, expensive for £10, I would have expected better quality. 2. The downstairs toilets we dirty with tissue everywhere, clearly no one had checked the toilets all night! Overall still a good experience

Well cooked as usual with nice wines to accompany. A consistently high standard Service excellent. The menu is good but lacks choice for vegetarians or vegans. Literally nothing on the menu for anyone who doesn’t eat meat/dairy. The restaurant could be cosier less noisy with a few more soft furnishings to soften the macho wood/ slate/ hard surfaces Réservez une table maintenant

statement but I stand by it. The flavors were perfectly balanced, the texture was unbelievable, and every bite was a delight. This chicken surpassed all expectations and left me wanting more. Trust me, you need to try it for yourself.

Romados serves some of the best chicken I have ever tasted. When I think of Montreal, I immediately think of Romados. The two are synonymous because the food is just that good.

Food was delicious and presented well, highly recommend the cheese soufflé. Service ok but did feel like our table had been forgotten once or twice.
