The Bird I'th Hand

Today, on the 25th, I went for lunch at this restaurant. The bar staff were welcoming and pleasant, however, the food was not very good. My husband ordered the chicken wings, which were okay, but I had the steak melt. Unfortunately, the steak was mostly gristle, with just a thin layer of cheese and two small, limp baby gem lettuce leaves. The chips were good, but overall, the meal was disappointing. When I went to pay, the person behind the bar asked if my food was okay, and I mentioned the issue with the steak. I was met with a simple apology. The Christmas meal at this restaurant was absolutely delightful and everything was delicious. The mince pies were fabulous. The price per person was £40–50, and the food and service both received a perfect score of 5. The atmosphere was rated a 4 out of 5. There is plenty of parking available, including a free parking lot.

we begin to be here regularly as eating is so good and the service is very friendly. we were a couple of times to the breakfast and had the burgers. would really recommend that they give this place a try plus my son loves that they get a free muffin with each coffee!
