Was in town for a conference. Luckily we found this nice place to have a frosty beverage and some tasty treats. Ended up going here 3 times in 24 hours. The little complimentary potato chips were awesome! Had lunch with a friend, later on returned with a customer for some after dinner drinks. The bar tender eventually came by and tapped our glass 3 times with a piece of metal to announce last call. We were in mid conversation, and both my customer and I thought it was a classless act. I took some clients here as they had heard about it, but never gone. i was coming from out of town. The beer and wine was good, the burger was average. the fries were below average and the appies (which we had 3 differant ones) were ok, but not worth going back for. I am sure the chicken wings were from at least the day before and were totally dried out. the atmosphere was great, but that does not fill the stomach. the waitress was very nice.
Lunch here with a friend. I ordered their burger which was loaded with fixings and came with a salad. The burger was large but quite tasty. The salad was nice but better quality control on the lettuce would improve things. My friend had the Irish stew which looked great and which he said had a wonderful taste.
I was there with a large group and the staff were very organized and competent in serving a large number of people.I just enjoyed a couple of glasses of wine. My friends advised me the food was also excellent...definitely a good choice in the central part of PG.

Every time we stop to PG, we try to stop by The Black Clover! They have the best Roast Beef special in town. We did enjoy the live music and many different beers they have to offer!
Stevie, Naomi, Erin and Danielle were amazing. Went to PG for a conference and ended up going for dinner, pool and darts all 3 evenings. The four of them were fabulous!
Intimate, friendly vibe. Live music. Tried the Traditional Irish Stew with a Guiness! Friendly and efficient service (Thank you Erin). Great value for money. nldy
Tonight was our first time here and we will definitely be back! Friendly service and the food came out fast.
