The Black Dog - Réserver une table

I seldom give 1 star reviews but after visiting the Black Dog on and off for the last 30 years, normally after a bells and whistles' relaunch this place never fails to disappoint. I went there on Sunday 20th March, me, mum, sister,...daughter and step daughter. Hendricks and Tonic one of their highlighted cocktails Cheshire Vibes Hendricks, Cucumber Tonic and swirls of cucumber they had no cucumber and no cucumber tonic. 2 white wine spritzers well I've never seen a spritzer made with white wine and lime juice I thought it looked more line a urine sample than a drink but didn't relise until I saw the itemised bill there was no soda (or even lemonade) but there were 2 splashes of lime juice (...

I wrote a private message, but was ignored. we visited yesterday at 2 o'clock, the parking lot was empty, the alarm bells should have sounded. we ordered drinks, a dizzy blonde and a moretti and went outside to sit. 5 minutes later we were advised that they have no design beer. we asked what other layiers they had, but the barmann did not know he offered to go and look, but we just ordered another half of moretti. we waited about 20 minutes without signs of barman or our drinks. we are gone! very disappointing, but on the basis of the empty bar/restaurant, previous bad reviews and lack of reaction we should not be surprised. we will not return. so a scandal! update; get an answer on facebook...

visited here after crocky trail for the afternoon. excited, asunday roast with groundless frying, gravy, yorkshire puddings, as advertised! unfortunately, when we arrived, they were out of beef, not a big thing. when eating arrived, it was ok, sending feedback directly. to pub available on the bottomless options. cauliflower cheese was very delicious. worth for children toasting is really good considering that they drink, roast and ice cream cone all for £5. kinder hühnerburger was not necessarily a burger, more like two chicken bugs in a bungalow.

We had our early Valentine’s meal last night. We thoroughly enjoyed all of our choices. The presentation of the food was stylish, and very tasty. The chef had worked hard in making the flavours work together especially liked the cauliflower veloute. Thank you for an...enjoyable evening.
