The Black Horse Pub

On the main strip in Peterborough the Black Horse Pub is really neat, with lots of musically talented locals, we had a great dinner one night and then back on a Sunday afternoon for another afternoon bite to eat. The menu is pretty straightforward, nothing too fancy but all done very well, on time with friendly staff. We did have one portion that needed some more cooking but they were apologetic and fixed it immediately, and I believe it was removed form the bill. Mistakes are made but the good places make them rarely and fix them very well, with an extra drink. That is why I went back the next time. All in all a great placefor pub food and cold beer..

Every time we go in, we have an amazing time, probably because of bands like the Rick & Gailie Band and the great Housebrand band... You have to try their scrumptious steak covered with Cheese which comes with mashed potatoes and fresh vegetables... I'm sure you can ask for salad and it that's not your thing, everything they cook is absolutely mouth watering... I don't go to pubs often but when I do, I go to the Blackhorse pub!!

first the overall look of the bar is out dated, the manger behind the bar was completely rude and gave a lot of attitude aswell i witnessed her drinking while working so if you want to be served by someone with attitude and who is half drunk this is your place.

Love the live music and the friendly atmosphere. Always have a good time when we go Great selection of beer on tap. Staff very friendly and attentive. Will be very sorry to see it close

British pub fare, full meals or finger foods. great prices. Live entertainment every night, bar area as well .... and dancing if you want.
