I've spent my life hearing about it. I spent 1 hour living the dream. It was a pie in the sky dream due to constantly long wait times but today it happened. First visit to the blue owl and it was great. My husband and I split orders, to start the white chicken chili and the beef vegetable. Both were great, but the chili really stood out as unique. The quiche was pretty standard, but the unexpected champion of the meal was the baked chicken salad. Who knew you could make a savory pie with chicken salad? Fun lunch spot in Kimmswick . We went on a weekday so it wasn't busy but I expect there is a huge wait on the weekends . Both of us had salads and they were generously in portions. They came with a side of muffins which were delicious . We didn't get to try the award winning pies because we were so full but will definitely be back for them .
