Good food in a good atmosphere. Some dishes are a little bit on the pricy side, and the portion size of some starters was on the small side. Food quality was excellent, croquetteas weren’t that flavourful, but can highly recommend the meatballs for starter and the burger for main. Burger was up there with one of the best in Durham, certainly top-3. All staff were very attentive, without being overly so. The lager was good and clearly from clean and well maintained lines. Will certainly be back in the future. I can see this place absolutely rammed in the summer with its riverside setting.
Came for bottomless brunch for a friends last minute birthday plans and it was amazing. The food was 10/10 and the service from Kieran was brilliant, constantly on the ball and recognising as soon as the drinks were empty a new one was offered. Even had our order memorised after a few. It was just an all around great experience and will definitely be back
We had a wonderful date night in Durham. Phil provided excellent service and the 2 for 1 cocktails were a fantastic deal - we couldn't resist having two each! I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a great date night in Durham. We were too busy enjoying the delicious food to take any photos!
We have dined at Tomahawk before, but this was our first time at the Durham location. We were delighted to find that it was equally impressive, especially with the £20 deal. Gracie was very attentive. We did bottomless brunch and always felt someone was there ready for the next order. Slight disappointment at end as they ran out of mixers as the gas went out so limited drink choice. Can’t fault to service or communication from Gracie and her team.
