This is a fantastic local restaurant! I absolutely love their fried chicken, which is available on Wednesdays and Sundays. The staff is wonderful, and the service is exceptional. I enjoyed dining in for lunch, and the prices are very reasonable, typically ranging from $20 to $30 per person. I rate the food a perfect 5, the service a solid 5, and the atmosphere also gets a 5 from me. I highly recommend trying the brisket, hamburger, and smoked meat dinner combo.

There’s ample seating both indoors and outdoors, making it a great spot for gatherings or for those who smoke. I highly recommend The Boathouse for a quick sandwich or a hearty meal. Make sure to come hungry—if you leave hungry, it’s your own fault!
It took almost 45 min just to get someone to answer the phone to take our to go order. After we placed our order we were called back and told almost half our order couldn't be fulfilled for various reasons. We changed our order and moved on. E picked up the order the food was great, the fried mushrooms were a bit overcooked but the onion rings were homemade and amazing!
