family meal for four for my birthday. the first time in this restaurant, although it was recommended to me before. the entrance is small, but clean. beautiful welcome and we were quickly shown on our table. the first impressions of the restaurant were very good. light, clean, and a pleasant atmosphere. waiters were attentive and helpful. drink order was quickly taken and the food order shortly afterwards. the menu is good, not as “extensive” like some Indian restaurants, but the offer on request can be the well known dinner. the food came in good time and was very good and no problems at all. we had decided not to have any appetizers (only poppadome and dips) that turned out, and the portion...

Our order was underwhelming, we are very familiar with the dishes we ordered and compared to other restaurants in Stamford I’m afraid we found the Bombay Cottage to be quite bland. Recommended by friends as the best in our area. We ordered for the first time tonight as a take away, and we need look no further. One of the best naan breads i have ever tasted so good! very busy place must book and great service after a short wait at the bar area to be seated.
