imple menu and lots to choose fromFrom the display. Generous portions Fish and chips. Fantastically cooked fish, too much chips (I know I’m making a negative comment here) but sometimes too much chips isn’t a good thing Pea and prosciutto arancini with Sugo. I ordered with salad, but it came with chips. I completely forgot until after I touched the chips. So I didn’t want to send it back. Arancini was delicious! Not something I’d expect from a tourist attraction cafe/restaurant. Price is fair and affordable
Location, location, location and location again how could you not give this café a half decent rating given the views across the gardens and the cityscape. The service is not too bad, the coffee reasonable, and the breakfast dishes, while nothing outstanding in quality, are quite ok and fairly priced. When you package in the spectacular views by day and night, this is a café you can go back to again with some confidence, whether you are a tourist or a local.
Always busy and for good reason. Right in the commercial spot in the lovely Kings Park, this is not a place for a quick feed. You will wait to order and you will wait to get your food, but it will be worth it. I went with two vegan friends and there were zero complaints there too. Altogether we had mostly delicious carbs: the dips and bread, the deconstructed green salad, avocado toast, pumpkin ricotta ravioli (me! , wedges, great coffee and fresh juices.
