The Botanist - Réserver une table

I was looking forward to celebrating at the Botanist. A live band, great reviews and the food looked amazing. But when you eat out it’s also about the service. We were seated under a speaker which was triggering my tinnitus. The restaurant was fairly empty. I asked if we could move to a certain table. The waitress seemed upset by the request but went away to check. I approached her, she had her back to me whilst she was speaking to the barman, I didn’t hear the conversation but when she turned around she wasn’t happy to see I was standing there, she started aggressively telling me that she was checking. I hadn’t said a word at this point. She repeated herself a few times. I was only waiting...

We have had the most fabulous Sunday lunch. Layla could not have been more attentive and the chef was amazing with the allergies in our group. I hope next time we come Layla is our server. Absolutely made our day.

Looked at menu ,cheese bread no longer available,salt n pepper onion petals no longer available and the cheese brie fondant thing now has onion marmalade in bottom....left without ordering

Only been for drinks, but every time I have been it has a good atmosphere vibe. Food looks amazing but yet to try.
