On Saturday 9 September the lovely Sue the bride and me held our wedding reception at The Wheatsheaf. We had a fabulous day and all the arrangements ran perfectly on a very hot day indeed. Despite the heat staff remained cool, calm and collected throughout providing us with excellent service, communication and provision which made everyone present feel, comfortable, valued and appreciated. During our journey back home from a long weekend getaway, we stopped at the Wheat Sheaf in Bingham just before the kitchen closed. The staff warmly welcomed my girlfriend and me for dinner. The menu looked very tempting, and since we were quite hungry, we decided to order a starter, followed by mains, and then shared a dessert. Each of the three courses was outstanding, featuring classic pub dishes with a luxurious and artisanal twist. Kudos to the kitchen for great presentation and exceptional flavors at very reasonable prices. We will certainly make a point of stopping here again on our travels! Service: 5

Just spent 3 nights here. Cannot wait to return. Bed comfy, shower amazing, so clean and the continental breakfast which you put in the fridge in your room is an excellent idea.
