had a fabulous evening at the wheatsheaf last night. the food was sublime- the duck boiled to perfection and the jus so delicious I had to stop myself from licking the plate! General cheese board was divided between 3 and the caviar cheese cake was light and yet really creamy and was the effect to jump on the wonderful crispy biscuit crumb base. our waitress laura was thrilled and the Wheatsaf manager was attentive and pleased to chat with her customers! to this fabulous evening the cherry champagne cocktails were mixed by dav. the live music was excellent, although something too loud for the dining room, but the singing was extremely good. my only suggestion would be to check the weeping li...

the most beautiful afternoon I've ever had is fair to say that I had a lot! since the reopening of my partners I have called myself for meals, many family members friends introduced to their beautiful eating excellent service! I thought I would invite some friends to try the afternoon tease; we were not disappointed in spite of that! I was at numerous places for the afternoon, but never got something as tasty home made! we arrived yesterday after so many good critikens, it was nice! everything was presented to home beautiful, we were offered additional sandwiches, refills by tee also. to know that they do it all year round is brilliant, we will continue to recommend this beautiful place for...

They eat here half a dozen times and never had a bad meal. Sunday dinners are a bit or two more than they would pay to the larger chains, but still be great value for money and there is no comparison of quality. Another big plus point for me is that they are happy to bring more gravity in contrast to other restorers I have eaten. the lunches are just as good with a lot to choose and they get a good selection of specialized brews, I had once rhubarb cider from curiosity and it was amazing. well done and keep them the good work.

We visited today for lunch and ate from the early bird menu. Food was fantastic and at such a reasonable price. Our child ate for free as it was a Saturday and such a selection of drinks to choose from! Our favourite place to visit when going out for lunch or dinner!
