The Boulevard Food Store

I came here for coffee cake, was served a warm 'baked cheesecake ', this has never happened at any other cafe. I know its 'baked ' but people generally eat it cold unless asked, especially in summer. It was very ordinary tasting anyway, not worth $6. Didn 't ask me if i wanted sugar in my iced coffee either, so it came without sugar, not the same if you add it later.Plenty of other places in the same area to go are much better for coffee cakes. Customer service was a bit lacking too, when i pointed out i would have preferred they asked me if i wanted the cheesecake warm, she said nothing walked off.

very nice little caffe in the quiet suburbs, service was a little disappointing, there was lack of greeting or information round when it was table or anti-service and eating was in order for melbourne standard. I don't think it was a very good example for their normal standard, and I would return because they have promising potential.

We went there for coffee cake but not much of a range of that available. Coffee was ok but expensive for an ordinary tasting small doughy piece of mud cake. Service was reasonably friendly prompt. I would maybe come back to try their cooked food during winter as it is quite nice sitting inside. Outdoor seating available too.

Our coffees came out quick and nice, and we're pleasantly surprised that when we ordered a Ruben to share, they're so attentive to serve the sandwich in 2 plates .

Loved sitting outside in the sun. Really enjoyed the baked cheese cake.
