The Bread Peddler is a super busy, popular spot. I'm not exactly sure on how things work in there, it seems to be connected to a larger place. I went in and got on line, which was quite long. It's small and a little tight given the traffic present, likely that it might be best to go early. They have a case filled with pre-made sandwiches and the like. There is also an area with the baked goods. You order that stuff along with your coffee at the register. With that being said, some people were seated at the tables with menus and ordering food. Not quite sure how that operates. I had a sandwich, pastry and coffee, they were fine.

Imagine you live in the sunless, waterlogged hellscape that is Olympia, Washington. On one particularly wet and sunless day you find yourself in a cozy French bistro. There's only a single soup option, the daily special. You order it like a hero, or run away like a coward. A bowl plus fresh bread is only $6.75 anyways. You rejoice at the earnest and humble nature of this meal, and it transports you to a provincial life of simple choices and honest food. A chef brings it out, and you exchange small talk for a moment. The rain outside your window has now become like an old friend. Anyways, soup and bread yum!!

The customer service was horrible. I was told 15 minz to warm up my quiche and I waited for over 25+ minz to find it on the counter cold. My name was never called out and the women who helped me smiled and gave me eye contact multiple times without letting me know my food was ready. I had politely when to the end of the counter 3 times to check to Make sure but they had placed it next to the register where everyone had been checking out. By the time I got to leave with my cold food, I also had a ticket in the parking lot for going over my time. Never going back over priced and terrible service.

When I went there around 11 o'clock on a Sunday, most of the breads were already sold out. I immediately knew it was a popular bakery. I only had sandwiches and paninis left, so I ordered a panini this time. It took a while to heat up, but the outside was crispy and delicious. The chai was also spicy and easy to drink. The inside of the store was spacious and comfortable. Next time I would like to go earlier and try a different bread. Réservez une table maintenant

Amazing baked goods. My favorite is the blueberry cream cheese danish. The staff are friendly and the coffee ain't bad either. This is our go to spot for a bite to eat in the morning when we visit Olympia.

Excellent customer service. There's always a line whether in store or at the farmer's market and there's a good reason for that...best bread EVER! Delicious croissants.

Try the morning roll or the koign amann. Sweet, flakey and perfect. Fantastic local bakery with good espresso.

Great food! It's a very busy place and the employees were pretty short when trying to order. Réservez une table maintenant
