Only went for a drink (no food) with a few friends. Haven't been for a good while and hadn't realised what was the car park has now been turned into additional seating areas to maximise social distancing. Has a one way system, front to back (though later in the evening this gets informally relaxed if the numbers are low enough). Good experience though, and recommend the Twisted Spire good pint in my humble view.
We went for a meal with visiting family. The pub was busy but we were seated promptly and the service was efficient and friendly. We had the fish and chips, the gammon and the chicken dish. All were very tasty, nicely presented and decent portion sizes. The landlord and the young Waitrose were friendly, efficient and helpful. Altogether a lovely evening. Definitely recommend.
what a wonderful and welcoming place that is. a little from the center of the city, but absolutely the few minutes to walk. it is also very close to the channel, so stop when you have a walk. the food we had was exceptional and very good. the bar area is also very accommodating for dogs and babies, so if they are in the opposite!
Brilliant place, first visit this weekend 29.08.21.. Staff were excellent, plenty of outdoor seating that still catches the end of summer, afternoon rays.. So overall very relaxing and nice atmosphere, great service when we ordered and lovely citra ipa on tap.. Will be coming back soon thanks guys Réservez une table maintenant
Food, drink and atmosphere is fantastic, would recommend to anyone after a high quality meal in a relaxing atmosphere. Will be seeing you again thank you.
Food was lovely and well presented, waiters were polite and attentive, along with bar staff being friendly. Lovely evening out.
