I went to the restaurant at around 9 a.m. on Sunday, aiming to avoid the brunch crowd, and I was seated right away. The food was quite good; I particularly liked the fresh fruit that came with my meal—it was delicious. The poached eggs were a bit undercooked, which can be challenging to get just right, but they were still enjoyable. The staff was friendly, and I appreciated the wide-ranging menu with plenty of customizable choices, making it easy for everyone to find something they like. They also have a great selection of mimosas.
Really bad experience. The server wasn?t attentive or friendly, I tried to order 2 of the chicken and waffles Benedict but Silvino brought the wrong order and I told him the chicken was dry what I pointed to on the menu wasn?t the same thing. and hewas supposed to substitute it for eggs and then that was even worse I attached pictures. he still charged me for everything andthe host was trying to help me correct it but he was acting busy and walking away from her when it wasn?t busy at all.
Absolutely exceptional! I'm visiting from out of town—specifically, New York City—and I can honestly say this is some of the best breakfast I've had in a long time. I work for one of the top companies known for excellent customer service and quality food, and The Broken Yolk exceeded my expectations in every way, scoring a perfect 10/10. If you ever find yourself in Carlsbad, do yourself a favor and stop by The Broken Yolk; you won't regret it!
The service was prompt and friendly, and the food was absolutely delicious. They were very accommodating with my dietary restrictions. The service truly stood out! Jen was an exceptional server! The ambiance was pleasant, and the music added to the experience. It's a wonderful spot to enjoy a meal!

The food at this restaurant is always outstanding. My 9-year-old granddaughter can be hard to impress, but she was absolutely delighted with her meal. She had chocolate chip pancakes, and I went for the California burrito, which was delicious! The service is consistently excellent, too!
The food is amazing, and the atmosphere is wonderful! I absolutely adore the white decor and the modern tables. However, our waitress disappeared for a little while and initially forgot to refill our coffee. Overall, it's a fantastic place for breakfast with a wide variety of options.
I visited the restaurant yesterday morning for breakfast. The food was very good, but the air conditioning was broken, which made for an uncomfortable atmosphere. Additionally, the server forgot to bring the coffee.
Service was great food was good as always. We say at the nat so they're wasn't a wait
