really big pub in any case recommend to give the tape an attempt from the moment in which they go to the moment, they leave their treated like family by the employees and also the customers aswell, pubs like these die and his shame I hate kicky...Pubs where they don't feel comfortable, but there the ones that make the money! Recently been taken over and what a transformation they have made. The back room has been done up to cater for the amazing food that is on offer through out the day, live music on Fridays also various night are setup like Mexican, motown and...quiz nights which makes the pub very friendly and inviting place during and at the end of the working week. There is also an great selection of draught beers and a large selection of spirits to choose from. All in all, a great pub with great, friendly regulars, lovely bar staff and a welcoming landlord.
I have lived near this pub for 17 years but never went inside until I saw it on the tastecard app. The interior looks recently renovated and cozy. The menu isn't extensive, but I prefer it that way. The staff behind the bar was excellent, making sure we were well taken care of. We had both starters and mains, and both were delicious. The wine was also excellent. We will definitely return, even without the tastecard, as it was good value for money. It's great that we finally found this gem of a place!
After perusing the outside menu board at this pub, we decided to give it a go. Ordered the drinks and asked for the menu. Sorry, we don't do food any more was the reply. I turned my head to the pillar directly behind me which...held the sign Hot Foot Served All Day'. Drank up and left.. Sorry, but getting people inside the pub under false pretences is hardly likely to increase trade. TAKE THE SIGNS DOWN John C.

We made a last-minute reservation here and we are extremely pleased with our choice. Although it is a local spot, we had never dined here before. The pub has been renovated and the interior is lovely. The food was fantastic, with generous portions. The service was exceptional as well. We will definitely be returning, as even without a discount card, the prices are very reasonable.
Visited this pub for food a few times in the last couple of months under a new chef, who takes a lot of pride in what he offers and serves. The food is excellent, home cooked and great value for money. The updated surroundings make...for a very pleasant meal. All in all a really good experience. Will definitely be going back. Monday night 50% of food is a must!

Had my daugther christening party here on sunday the 27th. Amazing staff. Amazing landlord and lady and amazing food. Could not do more for us on the day. And in the run up to the christening with the arrangements. Thank you so much.

This pub is always a lively pub to go to with kareoke etc. the prices do vary. Tonight I was charged between 6-8 quid for the same round. Overall, nice pub with friendly staff, friendly clientele and good atmosphere
Wow wow wow wow had lunch today with my husband what are charming place the staff are amazing and the food is just the best what a fantastic find!! Amazing day thank you so much for a truly wonderful lunch
