cozy location and atmoshere, in a beautiful village. friendly attentive staff. there were two menus, the first is a regular pub menu that, to be honest, the dishes served were quite plentiful and appetit and well presented. the second menu was tapas, of which I was not sure, would feed hungry fat young, as there are two of them in me. we decided to give both menus the opportunity to prove themselves. order two dishes from the tapas menu as starter, then a main page from the more conventional English pub menu. that had done a great selection of things. the tapas portions were not to be sneaked, as they were almost a meal in themselves. we had the paprika and the meatballs, made to house and p...

What a fabulous welcome, turned up after food finished about 8:40pm. Asked about food and staff offered some fries to put us on, these came along with a complimentary side dish from the tapas menu(taster). It was all so nice we decided to call in the following day for lunch after a lovely walk to White Nancy. Spanish styles tapas and the most fabulous hot beef and onion chiabatta. Two outdoor areas at the front and rear of the property(7 tables at the front) large rear seating area looks over the Cheshire plains. Will be revisiting as this is ideal for walks/cycling into Peak District

Fantastic Food and great host. Popped in for a quick pint at lunchtime after visiting White Nancy. After seeing what was on offer had to book a table for evening meal. Best Tapas we have eaten and great value for money. Host was wonderful. Can't wait to visit again.

Thank you so much to the sweet staff and the fabulous chef, we enjoyed our dinner at the Bulls Head and loved the local chat! I had the Tapas this time but had seriously good Fish Chips last time Love love love this pub!

great pub with friendly staff and locals. there we drank our beer outside and this strange cat stared at us for 30 minutes, without moving at all and then slept in. seriously impressive. sweet.
