The Burnt Pig - Réserver une table

Small but full of atmosphere, the 'Pig ' has won several CAMRA awards and features a constantly changing menu of real ale and ciders from all over the UK. Right in the centre of town on Market Street, it also sells a large selection of cheese, pies and meats for consumption on or (more usually) off the premises. An excellent welcome from Simon and team. The only down side is that, being a small and friendly venue, it may get very busy at peak times.

Had some lovely take out over lockdown Always good to support local small business although I live in Nottingham Well worth the trip Simon and team always go the extra mile to make everyone welcome and serve the best beers ciders and let’s not forget pork pies and other goodies Now open again everyone following the Government guidelines. Well worth a visit with regular 20 minutes bus from Nottingham too Ilkeston

Have a soft spot for the landlord and I think his other half(i maybe wrong) lovely people, great place, great knowledge, great still cider, what can you moan about.....NOTHING....Always a good place to have a nice pint and a good laugh! Just want one of those named pig tankards that hang above the bar

I agree with many earlier reviews.This is a beer lovers paradise run by a super friendly and highly knowledgable landlord. Not only is there always a great array of beers but some great food lurking in the coolers in the bar. All in all an absolute must when in town.

A trip to the Burnt Pig is like a trip back in time, wonderful atmosphere, ever changing real ales, and snacks aplenty. Friendly staff!
