As good as ever, the restaurant is not as crowded as it used to be before Covid, but the high standards of quality, cleanliness, and friendly service from Sarah and her team remain unchanged. Unfortunately, the restaurant is only open on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays at the moment. Unlike other restaurants that have had to cut down their menu options, this one has kept its full range of choices. Please consider supporting this long-standing local business. It would be a great loss if it were to close down.
This morning, my 10-year-old son and his friend met at the tearoom for a weekend treat. His friend had beans on toast and a coke, while my son had a Biscoff muffin and a mint milkshake. My son thought the food was delicious, the service was excellent, and even though they were both on their phones a lot, the owner Sarah was really nice. She even came out to make sure I got into my mom's car safely. Thank you for taking care of them both! I'm sure they'll be back again soon.
Been here many times over the years and visited Friday 21st August 2020 for Lunch being our first time since lockdown began. Had to wait about 10minutes for a table but was no problem. Great menu as always. I had the pie and the wife had quiche. The food was as always lovely and at a good price. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Will be back
