I have been coming to this restaurant for breakfast or lunch for the past ten years, but unfortunately, that will no longer be the case. The prices at Wetherspoon's have increased significantly, making them less competitive compared to other chains. The portions are getting smaller and the prices are going up. The curry lunch balti bowl, in particular, has shrunk in size while the price has gone up. The only positive aspect is the friendly staff and cheaper beer. However, we will now be taking our lunch business elsewhere. Farewell!
Very very busy, booked a table, but had no idea who to speak to or find out where we would need to find out. They ran out of Chardonnay!!! Easy to order through the app, but the wait time seemed to vary, especially when it came to ordering drinks, we only had soft drinks, so I was unsure why. The family feast sharer was really nice, the S&L sharer, not so much.
we had a nice brunch here. fortunately we were served by a beautiful woman called sophie. she was a joy. happy very helpful. give this woman a raise in salary as she deserves. always run around with the greatest smile on her face. tamara was also a bright light. both employees made the experience worth and very pleasant. thank you girls.
I revisited the restaurant in May. We ordered curry meals with garlic naan, both of which were very tasty. The drinks were good as well. We were greeted by two ladies who used to work at a nearby Wetherspoons in Newark. The restaurant was clean and we didn't have to wait long for our meal.
