The Canadian Brewhouse (fort Mcmurray)

IT WAS MY BIRTHDAY ON OCTOBER 11 AND WE WENT OUT FOR DINNER IN THE EVENING, I ORDERED A VEGETARIAN BURGER AND THE BURGER THAT I WAS SERVED HAD A BIG LONG BACON STRIP ON TOP OF MY BURGER. THE SERVER TOOK IT BACK AND BROUGHT ANOTHER BURGER AND THE BURGER ONLY HAD ONE PIECE OF LETTUCE, BURGER PATTY, AND HALF A SLICE OF ONION. I THINK DUE TO INFLATION THEY HAVE STOPPED PUTTING VEGETABLES AND CHEESE ON THE BURGER. I DID NOT EAT THE BURGER SO I HAD TO STAY HUNGRY ON MY BIRTHDAY SUPPER. AFTER THAT, MY WIFE WENT TO THE SERVER TO BRING THE CAKE WHICH WAS A SURPRISE FOR ME BUT SERVER WENT TO THE MANAGER AND ASKED ABOUT THE CAKE BUT THE MANAGER STRAIGHT CAME TO OUR TABLE AND ASKED MY WIFE, WHAT CAKE YO...

The place seemed like a great spot to watch your favorite teams; it was busy, but we received our food quickly. There's even bowling downstairs! On my next visit, I plan to explore the menu more and try one of the many dishes available. My granddaughter had the fish and chips and said it was very good, while my daughter ordered shepherd's pie and loved it. We arrived after they had already ordered, so they enjoyed their meals before we got there.

The restaurant was quite loud when a group of young kids were playing games, but it was enjoyable after 8 PM. However, around 9 PM, they turned the volume up significantly, even though there were only two other tables occupied at that time. I would recommend going again after 8 PM or during the day. The food is fantastic!

Fantastic service, delicious food, and a great atmosphere! I highly recommend this place. Gordon took excellent care of us. We really enjoyed the tour of the bowling alley, which we had no idea was even there! We will definitely be returning. Plus, they use pebble ice in their drinks—it's the best ice around! The Canadian Brewhouse has quickly become our favorite restaurant. We have always been pleased with both the food and the service. Last night, they had a Dueling Pianos event, and the two musicians really brought the place to life! Delicious food, excellent service, and great company!

I visited this restaurant on November 12, 2023, while in town for my son's hockey game. Our server was incredibly friendly and made a special effort to accommodate a food modification for my wife. It was a wonderful experience, and I would definitely go back again.

The food was as good as always, but the service was incredibly slow. It took nearly two hours for five of us to have lunch on a Sunday afternoon. We all ordered water, and it took 20 minutes to arrive. I won't be returning here for lunch in the future.
