While it’s common for craft beers to be served in smaller quantities due to their alcohol content or brand, the pour I received was significantly less than what I've had before of the same beer—definitely not even two-thirds of the glass. When I asked her to top it off, she insisted that was the proper amount. I pointed out that other waitresses were serving full pints to customers, which seemed to upset her. About 20 minutes later, a waitress named Cindy came to our aid and encouraged us to go back inside. Kamar and Cindy then led us to our table. From that point on, the service was excellent, and the food was delicious. It was evident that the staff was professional, and I would definitely come back and give it another try. Despite the rough start, I wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone. I don’t want one unpleasant experience to overshadow the overall good time we had. At the end of our meal, Nora returned to ask how everything was and seemed genuinely happy to see us. Well, that was a bit surprising!
Lovely views, fantastic service and decent, but not amazing food. Prices are comparable to other restaurants in the area. We tried the lobster grilled cheese and parmesan crusted grouper. The lobster was claw meat only and I felt like it wasn't all lobster... that they may have added some fake crab(I could be wrong). Grouper was all right, and the vegetables and pilaf were pretty basic fare, but tasty enough. Nothing gourmet here... you come for the view I think.
I was initially drawn here just because of the name, but then I saw the Captain's Chowder on the menu and had to have it. It didn't disappoint! I was too full from that to order more, but lots to try next time!!! Nice view! Update: came back with my wife the next afternoon, got more of that fantastic Captain's Chowder, and tried the crab cake. All was excellent! Recently visited on a trip to Florida. Definitely exceeded our expectations. Our server, Kayla, I think, was great and very attentive. We had margaritas to drink, started with coconut shrimp zucchini fries, both were delicious. My sister i had steak and my other sister had fish. Everything was delicious, fresh and cooked perfectly. We sat outside overlooking the water which enhanced our experience. Will definitely return.
Stopped here for lunch after walking around the park nearby. Jenna or server who works behind the bar, it's near the counter seating with a view of Punta Gorda harbor. You place your order at the bar and the server will bring it to you. We had the coconut shrimp and blackened Mahi tacos. The food was delicious and the wait time was minimal. If we are in the area again we will return!
Fabulous dinner and drinks! Oysters Rockefeller were to die for as well as the Tuscan Grouper and Shrimp Trio with shrimp scampi, coconut shrimp and jerk shrimp. Loved the lemon drop martini. Gorgeous sunset views from inside or outside dining! Réservez une table maintenant
