Tucked away. A gem! I had the cottage pie. This was flipping delicious. The only concern is that it was piping hot. A real shame as I wanted to shovel it into my mouth much, much quicker. I make a great cottage pie and this...beat mine by a mile. Gorgeous, tasty and I couldn’t get enough of it. Half an inch of leak mash and a really deep well of tasty filling. I had apple pie and custard for pudding. Also a huge, filling, delicious pud I struggled to finish but there was no way I was leaving anything! The staff were friendly, polite and welcoming. Service was brisk without being pushy. Whilst I was there another or parties came in. It’s popular and that’s obviously hugely deserved.
blink and you would miss the entrance, so please try this place out! adult ate, from us had homemade lasagne, homemade baked ham, ei and chips, cattleburger and chips. all meal times. were cooked fresh cake hot and really delicious. there were some things I would like to try, but unfortunately we were only in but for the day. personal and chefs were very polite and friendly. all Kovid guidelines at location and location, beautiful clean dining area and immaculate garderobe with extras and baby changing facilities. we will be worth a visit.
I had a steak-Rindburger and it was one of the best burgers I had in my life. the burger was boiled too moderately, which I also prefer, but that did not stop being juicy. eating was really good and. I would come back and revise after my visit to but. the staff is friendly and polite. I really enjoyed the court and I look forward to the revisit and I recommend this place to everyone.
Great welcome and lovely home cooked food. I had the honey roasted ham, egg and chips and my friend had the cottage pie. Simple food, well done. Had cake and ice cream afterwards. Massive pieces of cake which I loved because so many places give...skinny portions. Staff were friendly and cheerful despite all the current COVID challenges. Well done guys, I’ll definitely be back.

A cafe meal tonight, Butternut squash lasagne. I spoke to the owner a few days ago and he made me a vegan version, no cheese and oatmilk bechemel white sauce. It was really tasty the only downside was I was charged more than...the menu price of for the small changes, no cheese, and I'm guessing he had to go out to buy the oatmilk. Worth a visit, still reasonably priced
I and my friend went to the carlton for lunch. the first thing I noticed was that there were many employees running around. as the restaurant quite compact to see, it was very remarkable and out when they try to enjoy their experience. I ordered the chicken panini that comes with chips. it was in order, nothing special, just a standard lunchtime menu.
This is the best restaurant in Aberystwyth. With a lovely menu (very reasonably priced) you will be sure to find something you will enjoy. I have returned to the Carlton each time I visit Aber and the Lamb Mint burger is my absolute favourite....Friendly staff, lovely food, great prices and an ambient interior.
Came here on Sept.welcoming staff who are following guidelines to a tee.our waitress was so efficient, friendly and helpful.the goulash and my quiche was gorgeous.desserts to die for. All freshly made and reasonable prices.best cafe in town and will def be returning. Highly recommend!!!!!....Thankyou.

home cooked eating for reasonable prices with friendly staff. options on the menu and special offers on the board. the lemon melissa is for dying if they fit it (the portions are generous would definitely recommend.
