I searched online for a restaurant option at Etihad Stadium and came across The Carvery. I made a booking online, but when I arrived at the stadium, no one knew where it was and had to consult their notes. Eventually, we were directed to the Medallion Club, where we were informed that we needed a special pass to enter and had to wait for an official to provide us with one. Despite this initial hassle, the experience was excellent. The price was $67 per person for a seafood entree with plenty of oysters, prawns, and mussels, followed by roast pork and beef, lamb curry, barramundi, vegetables, and rice. The dessert range was also fabulous. You could stay the whole day or return during breaks (...

We visited this restaurant for a friend's birthday while visiting from the country NSW and were excited for great food and atmosphere. However, we were disappointed with the food, costing $70 per person. The fried rice was made with frozen vegetables and was clumpy and overly spicy. The roast meat and potatoes were served cold, with only the spring rolls and dumplings being satisfactory. Drinks were expensive and the dessert was another letdown. The eclairs were unrecognizable and the strawberry mousse was lacking, but the jaffa dessert stood out as delicious. Overall, the experience was not worth the money.

Last night, we were at Etihad for a game and decided to have dinner at The Carvery. Unfortunately, it was a huge disappointment. At $57 per person, it was a complete waste of money. As soon as we sat down, we were told to hurry and grab some cold seafood, which was flavorless and almost gone. The main course options were roast beef or turkey with roast potatoes and various salads. Dessert consisted of a small selection of trifle, cream cake, mini cupcakes, and popcorn covered in a crumbly 'toffee' that was quite unpleasant. We will not be dining there again.

Etihad's Carvery within the Medallion Club is batting above its weight. Beautiful roast meats on offer make the visit memorable. perfect accompaniment to watching footy with the boys and having a few beers. A unique offering for what you expect at a football match. I loved it and recommend The MC to anyone. Lifts the prospect of attending football matches all that more appealing.
