The Castaway Cafe

we visited this facility, now known as tides in and out, twice in the last summer and loved eating. but we tried twice this week and both of them turned away. the first time was june because he was just turned around and they were told they were closed. all the signs were quiet outside and doors open for both takeaway caffe! who closes a chippy at the badeort on Saturday afternoon!? versuch was juli an was said today that the caffe no longer tables but without time french, so went to take away kiosk, but also said no food orders there too! we landed on the street in a beautiful caffe, where we then observed how people, different parties, were subsequently sitting and ordering for food. not to disturb again!

I had the pleasure of frequenting the Tides cafe on a rainy day in Combe Martin. I was greeted by a warm welcome and I ordered a Baked Potato with butter and Cheese. The potato was piping hot and accompanied by a very nice side...salad which included a nice crunchy homemade coleslaw. For I was well impressed. I cannot fault the food or the service.

Eating is not great. cleanliness is even worse! dirty greasy menus and the young girl talk about being abused over two years old was not what we wanted to hear especially when our year-old son was with us. we will not be back.

love this place! has beautiful eating in the offer and really amazing coffee and tee! the personal is heavenly and so friendly. highly recommended!
