The Cavern in Gloucester is one of a kind. To a lot of people just passing by it is a very pleasant social cafe with reasonably priced food and non-alcoholic drink. The reality is that The Cavern is so much more than that. This is a place that is non-judgemental and focuses on inclusion for everyone. It has a lot of regular attendees including myself, many of which have mental health issues and/or some form of disability. The staff here (who are absolutely amazing) have a varied and wide understanding of mental health and what makes this place unique is that anyone can attend in the evening to talk to a member of staff about any issues in an informal and discrete way. I play yugioh at the Cavern, they do weekly tournaments and open duel events for casual play. I have tried a few other places in Cheltenham, Stroud and other stores in Gloucestershire, but I like the friendly community here. Everyone is really welcoming, whether you're a new player or a returning player. They have cheap prices on packs and structure decks, and I like how they offer a variety of yugioh events to keep things interesting.
Fantastic place to visit I made a stop here after it being recommended on tic tok and it did not disappoint staff very friendly and helpful all smiling which is a nice change to see from my usual places. Very reasonable prices and the home made cookies was amazing a great addition to my trip back home on my return to Gloucester I will definitely be returning to the Cavern.
I enjoyed, for 10 British pounds, about $12, a glass full of Diet Pepsi and then a huge meal of roast beef, mashed potatoes and vegetables, with gravy poured on top very HOT. This is not Taillevent, but, for 10 pounds British, this is a great place for a lunch.

Just come back from a tremendous lunch at the lovely Cavern in Gloucester . Fabulous food at very reasonable prices , friendly staff. Even had a game of snakes and ladders . Cannot recommend this venue enough!
Love this venue. Toasted sandwich was the best I've ever had, they certainly didn't skimp on the filling. Will definitely be eating here again. Thank you to the staff for being so welcoming and friendly.
This was my first visit to The Cavern and I was extremely impressed. Great choice of food, quirky interior and staff were extremely helpful. I'll definitely return when I'm next in Gloucester.
Stopped here for lunch and it was lovely. One of the best nachos I have eaten and my husband had a bacon egg and sausage sandwich that he devoured. Well worth coming to and supporting them.

Visited for lunch today- lovely food, friendly staff and inclusive, welcoming, community feel. I hadn't heard of it until today but will definitely be coming back!
