I just wanted to take a couple of minutes to say something about my visit the other day I made a booking through email and was texted a very welcoming yes arrive at 5.30pm for your table Upon entry was greeted with a nice big smile and shown to our seats. We was asked for drinks which arrived quickly and then ordered our food!!! What can i say about the food except wonderful and fresh and hot We had a cheese garlic flat bread which was tasty My pie was delicious and my wife's chicken was beautiful It was a Thursday which was a discounted night on full price but would not of hesitated to pay full price!! We had a wonderful time celebrating St. George's Day at The Cedar Tree. It was a family get together and everyone enjoyed themselves. The afternoon tea was delicious and served in a traditional English style. Rachel went out of her way to accommodate a gluten-free meal for a family member, which was exceptional given the traditional nature of the event. The atmosphere was fantastic, especially when the vintage singer performed and everyone joined in the St. George's Day celebrations by singing, waving flags, and dancing. We recently had our son's 21st birthday celebration at The Cedar Tree. It wasn't a full-blown party, but more than just a sit-down meal, as he had requested. The service, from our initial inquiry to the actual event, was excellent. The evening itself was fantastic, with the friendly and attentive staff making sure we had everything we needed and more. We opted for the hot and cold buffet, which was delicious and great value. Whether you're looking for a quiet drink, a meal, or a full celebration, I highly recommend The Cedar Tree. We returned to this restaurant for the second time and we were not disappointed. It is hard to find anything new to say about this amazing pub that hasn't already been said. Last night, three couples dined inside and were blown away by the amazing food. The staff were incredibly professional and friendly, especially Rachel, who made us feel extremely welcome. I have already recommended this place to my family and friends. The food is top-notch and I can't wait to visit again.
We chose to host my mums 80th Birthday at the Cedar Tree. Rachel, Andrew and the team are wonderful. Rachel let us decorate the room before hand and bring our own playlist. She even let my mums ukelele group play. Andrew always makes superb food , everyone commented on how good the pie was and what a lovely time they had. Thank you so much for a great afternoon Sharon x
I had to visit after seeing all the 5* reviews and it did not disappoint. I have since visited another two times and on every occasion, the food has been incredible and the service lovely. I even went back to pick up the leftovers that I’d forgotten because the food was that good! You will not be disappointed
We found this hidden gem pub restaurant today and we had a lovely meal, Sunday lunch 2 courses for £15 or 3 for £18, all freshly cooked and very tasty, very good value for money. The homemade cheese and onion pie was lovely, my hubby had a Sunday roast which looked and tasted great
