We celebrated our 40th anniversary on Sunday. The Cellar has been the restaurant for our anniversary many times over the years. We went early to have a drink in the bar. The drinks were beautiful and very tasty. The service was really helpful and they notified the front desk we were there for our reservation. My husband and I ordered a bottle of wine and steaks. This was one of the best meals I have had at this restaurant. The Filet was tender and cooked perfect per our requests. Everyone was attentive and helpful. I'm sure we will be back again to enjoy this wonderful restaurant again.
Incredible ambiance that has the quality of an authentic wine cellar turned romantic eatery without being overly dramtic. Very welcoming and attentive service. Great place to make a strong impression on a first date or to celebrate an anniversary, etc.. The food was superb; not excessively fancy and petite, and presentable with delectability which was nice for a guy who likes to eat but also wants to treat a date right. Quick note: The entrance is down a flight a flight of stairs in the northwest corner of the building (from Harbor Blvd, through the quad and to the right).
We had eaten there prior and everything was great. Today, the food was terribly salty. I ate what was terrible mashed potatoes. I am surprised no one tastes the food in the kitchen, because everyone at our table found the mashed potatoes and lobster bisque terribly salty. We had a special birthday dinner, but certainly not to the standards one should expect for such a dinner. Mashed potatoes were a big part of the meal, ruining our dining experience. We won’t be back and would encourage the chef and owner to taste their food before serving such over-salted food.
Went to The Cellar for my wife’s and I 20year anniversary, the place is amazing from the dining area was very cool. The service was excellent a long with the amazing drinks, the smoked old fashion was great. The presentation was great a long with the how great the food tasted. We will definitely make this a spot we continue to come too.

Always a great experience with tons of energy. Very attentive servers and all of my guests enjoyed each one of there meals. Great place for impressing clients or special family gatherings.
