The Chequers - Réservation de table

we decided to visit the chequers on the recommendation of the owner of our holiday home in wretham and were very satisfied that we did. if they are not local (or even if they are) it is a scenic journey along forested tracks and huge. open fields in the village thompson. the chequers itself is full of character and we enjoyed the rustic charm of the environment in the dining room. the staff was friendly and friendly. we were a family celebration of four, two adults and two children. we all really enjoyed our meal, between us we had steak and ale cake, sweet curry, pizza and cheesy nachos. sadly not a room for dessert, but a very pleasant eating and a pleasant ambiente both inside and outside...

My family and I recently visited The Chequers for the first time since we moved to a nearby village almost three years ago. We wanted to take our visiting family out to lunch and, with no personal recommendations to rely on, we decided to give this place a try. We were pleasantly surprised to find that the service was good and the food was excellent, with a variety of freshly prepared dishes available from both the regular menu and the specials board. We are already excited for our next visit, whenever that may be!

Charming, cozy, and welcoming small pub/restaurant. The decor is delightful with its old gas lamps, low ceilings, and large wooden beams. The food was delicious, with generous portions and great value for money. The staff were friendly and enjoyable, adding to the fun atmosphere, especially with a group of friends. I would definitely come back if I'm in the area again.

we spent a night in this country pub while going the Peddar’s way and it was exactly what we needed. comfortable room with hot water and a matte and hook for boots and waterproof; really generous snacks in the room; a sturdy dinner Monday is a pie night! and a warm and friendly welcome from richard and his team. what do you need more? Once again the Chequers Inn came up trumps! Cod and chips should be re-named whale and chips! A wicked chocolate sundae topped off a lovely evening. Service could have been faster but it wasn't a concern. Interestingly, Guinness is no longer served due to its price.

Great little country pub, very old and authentic and very well kept. Food very good and excellent value, staff very friendly. Give it a try for a lovely country side day out.
