The staff and owner at this restaurant are friendly and courteous. They are accommodating to our children and dogs, and offer delicious food at a reasonable price. The Sunday roast here is the best I have had in the Cambridge/Newmarket area.

I have to say, this restaurant is excellent in every way. The staff is very friendly and welcoming, the food was perfect, and the portion sizes were just right. If they keep up this level of service, they won't disappoint.

we were regularly visited at the chequers for a past, so we brought the family to dinner tonight 22! fantastic eating, fantastic service, wonderful atmosphere many thanks to all staff

We were very pleased to discover that the Schecks restaurant had reopened. It was the best Sunday carvery we had during our trip.
