The Chequers Inn - Réservation de table

We made a pit stop for lunch during a long journey and I am extremely happy that we did because this restaurant is a hidden gem! The staff gave us a warm welcome and provided excellent service, and the food was incredibly delicious. We wish we lived closer so that we could come back again. Overall rating: 5 stars.

We stopped at this restaurant on our way home for a quick meal, and my partner was in the mood for a beer. The food and drinks were absolutely delicious, and the service was top-notch. The location and hotel highlights were also great - it was quiet and offered great value for the price.

Just lovely! We’ve just called in for a family Sunday lunch , party of 7 and the food and service was just amazing! Thank you all at The Chequers for a wonderful visit. Sunday roast was just perfect! And the kids absolutely loved their meals too! We’ll be back! Service: 5 Location: 5

Nice decor and a characterful pub, unfortunately on the night we visited they were short of staff in the kitchen so approximately half the menu wasn't available. However the food that was served was well presented and tasty. Service: 4 Location: 5 Réservez une table maintenant

Sunday roast was excellent, the meat was lovely and tender with a good selection of vegetables cooked to perfection. Service was friendly and attentive without being overly intrusive. Dog friendly in the bar area. Rooms: 5 Service: 5 Location: 5

This pub was fantastic. The decor was lovely and the sunny weather just added to the experience. We were surprised to hear that one of the cooks was out, but the food still came out quickly. We will definitely be returning.

Popped in for dinner and it was a really nice experience. Staff encountered all friendly and kind and the food was delish (we had the bean burger) and cooked perfect. Highly recommend. Service: 5 Location: 5
