First visit. I ordered the mini fry. My partner the French toast. The mini fry was slightly over cooked with the bread decidedly hard on the edges and the sausages didn't fair much better. Mini was a good description in that there was 2 sausages (1 extra as I don't like bacon) 1 small slice of potato bread and 1 small soda bread with an egg and separate beans this was a plus as I personally don't like egg and beans on the same plate (beans served 3 minutes later in a separate pot). Hidden Gem in Rostrevor. Beautiful converted Methodist church into a cafe. Has a very friendly atmosphere. Found it while driving by after dropping our son off to a hiking trail nearby. Rostrevor has a river running through it and on a good day is very pretty. A really beautiful part of Northern Ireland.
Fanied some food and a beer but didn't want a pub. Heard about The Church and said I would give it a try. Very chill and quirky converted church. Food was delicious especially the wings and prawns. Staff were excellent, the two lads serving went above and beyond. Would highly recommend if in the area.
One of the best burgers I’ve had in some time. Service was also very friendly on both occasions. They allowed us to use a charger to charge a device with no issue at all. The coffee was also superb. The setting is lovely with outside seating and view onto Kilbroney Park.
