AMBIENCE: Decorated with photos of daily life in the UK along with the Union Jack. Seating is straightforward and almost like a cafeteria, reminds me of my time in London.FOOD: You have your choice of which fish, I chose the cod. I like how the chips were served as bigger wedges, allows for more ketchup on it lol The dish came out hot fresh, when I cut open the cod you could literally see the steam coming out. Tasty easy to eat with your hands if you wanted.SERVICE: The guy who was my cashier was also the server, he was polite to the point. I really like that because that means I'm not bombarded with small talk. I also appreciated that he checked up on me, wrapped up my chips handed me my other order that was to go.OVERALL: Genuine fish chips from a family run spot, that you can be in out of in no time.
The guy was pretty rude that took the order,my husband felt bad about not leaving a better tip, i told him don't feel bad the guy was rude the fish was so small inside of the batter and crust , the batter was mushy inside and waayy too thick, the fish was extremely greasy. My stomach hurts while I type this. People need to watch out coming here, unless you wanna clog your arteries. You get no refills. Also $16 for this? I'm sorry but this is disappointing. This is basically bread you're paying for. Look at my hand, totally greasy:
Wonderful fish and chips plus they have gluten free batter! We very much enjoyed our food and the staff were friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend a trip to The Codfather!Dietary restrictions: Gluten free fish and chips! The batter was great and cooked perfectly.
