inside outside bakery had plenty of seating with a big queue. Our party had steak and mushroom pie, lean beef roll and chips, corn fritter with poached eggs, avocardo and pickled veg and chicken salad. All enjoyed our meals. My husband ate his pie so quick I couldn't even take a photo of it. The staff were very hospitable and the service to table much quicker than I thought it would be given the busy time. Highly recommend.
I required to recharge my electric bike, the cafe owner made such a fuss over me using the power outlet in their cafe courtyard. The owner purposely placed their beer barrels in front of my bike effectively blocking me from retrieving my bike. Not a...supportive or friendly attitude, infect quite disturbing especially after buying a coffee from them in exchange of minimal electricity used ... Not anymore!
Had been here a few times but limited myself to coffee because I wasn't fond of the food. I have to say I was impressed this time. Not sure what's changed but great coffee, baked goods and hot food. The croque monsieur was cheesy and crunchy. Love the fruit buns, soft and fresh. An excellent array of fresh and toasted sandwiches too. Great coffee to top things off.
Situated in Abbotsford Convent, it's quieter during the week than weekends or Friday evening. Coffee is good. food is bakery-specific so a bit limiting for someone looking for non-bakery-type food. Can be hard to get a seat during peak times Réservez une table maintenant
Very pleasant afternoon outing spent in the gardens of the Convent I had a salad roll and cool drink, whilst the little fella wanted a gelato Nice calm environment to slow down and smell the roses
Really love the surrounds at this place. It's quiet, families and individuals relaxing and enjoying a nice lunch and coffee. The coffee is good and the rolls are fresh. Will definitely be back.
Pan fried fresh calamari! I usually wouldn't bother if I can't see the water or throw a stone and get close. But this was super delicious and unexpected.
