Came here because that haloumi dish looked amazing and it was. Huge serving and looked great. I hear the bread was also good and the crispy bacon was actually crispy and not fatty. I ordered my usual sides. Requested no dressing but it came out swimming in oil. I wasn't going to say anything but the waiter asked if it was okay. She promptly took it back and spun out another one just as fast. The salmon portion was small and disappointing and the avocado was only 1/4 instead of usual half- for the price we paid that could have been less stingy. The coffees were fantastic. Very cute little cafe. Indoor seating was hot and sticky- no aircon. I prob wouldn't go back ... but if you want an amazin...
Tiny little cafe with outdoor and indoor dining. Vintage odd chairs and fake lawn flooring make this very 'Freo'. The kitchen is tiny and so I wasn't sure the food that would come out of there would be good but I was pleasantly surprised. The smoked salmon fish had a perfectly poached egg, just right avocado and went great with the miso and beetroot. The Turkish bread it came with was crunchy and soft at the same time and smothered (in a good way) with olive oil. Yum!! My partner got the special of bacon, egg and blue cheese dressing. Omggg. Felt so welcome here, super friendly service. This is the best little place tucked away somewhere you wouldn't even know! Was super cosy as it was pretty cold day I visited. You honestly feel like your in someone's home. The decor is so nana like (in the best way!) but it doesn't feel forced retro if you know what I mean. I had the blue cheese lover (believe that is what it was called) and seriously didn't disappoint. The toasted bread was a surprise highlight, great cheese sauce with perfectly poached eggs. The pomegranate sprinkling a nice surprise flavour. Coffee is good also. Just an all round feel good place. I would absolutely go out of my way to drive here in the future.

This unassuming little cafe with mix matched chairs is a delicious little gem tucked away in a residential area.
The staff were really lovely, the cafe itself a bit eclectic looking. Although the service was a bit slow, I think the food was well worth it.

Spot intéressant situé au milieu des Burbs - des choses chanceuses qui ont cela comme leur local! Le café est une forme d'art là-bas! La nourriture est fraîche et snazzy - le service est toujours merveilleux. Vous ne pouvez jamais quitter votre accueil ici!
I had a very tasty blt and my husband had the big breakfast. Tropical juice and orange juices were both fresh and delicious. Only down side was it took about 30 mins for my breakfast to come and then another 5 mins for the big breakfast to arrive.

My friend and I popped in for an early breakfast and were not disappointed!! We loved it so much we returned the next day for more. Great ambience, lovely staff. The Grilled Haloumi and Bircher Museli with rhubarb are not to be missed!
Interesting spot located in the middle of the burbs - lucky things that have this as their local! Coffee is an art form there! Food is fresh and snazzy - service is always wondrous. You can never outstay your welcome here !
