We got The Library , and have to admit this is a once in a lifetime lodging experience. Rich with history, dark woods and antiques, awesome staff, great (like really great) whiskey selection we took advantage of their own bottling of Glen Scotia cask strength. You cannot just drive through here you really do need to stay (or dine) at the George. Oh the restaurant historic, wood and stone, fun music, rich food, a great experience. Rooms: 5

We visited for lunch after a recommendation from a local. The food was incredible. Service was quick and friendly. Would definitely recommend. If we lived closer we would be here regularly. Food drinks: All fantastic particularly the chocolate mousse dessert. Service: 5 Location: 5

Fabulous atmosphere (Open log fires) and the best food. I always have to have the Haggis, Neeps and Tatties. My wife had the Steak pie, and that was really good too. Service: 5 Location: 5 Hotel highlights: Romantic

Fully booked for late evening mealtime. Offered the same menu in the bar fantastic! Staff very attentive and friendly. Simple supper a new twist on cauliflower cheese ... absolutely deliscious Service: 5 Location: 5
