The Cottesmore Chip Shop

loves this chippy. the fish and the roggen is made to order and is always nicely cooked. the personal is always friendly and, even if they are not for one, always welcome them as an old friend who, if they have a local chip shop as well as these, treat them the same. and if you drive to oakham or to oakham, it is worth stopping.

Got home late last night just as the Chip Shop was closing. Welcomed with a smile and the usual good service. No rush at all and supper was delivered to the car so we could wait in the warmth. Thank you and best wishes are not enough but enjoy your Christmas break.

a fish and chip removal with small escap. tee and coffee to take away. customer toilet. I was just throwing chips and a tee, but it was all good. very cheerful, inviting service, on this, my first visit.

really good fishing and chips. not surprised a bit that the place was busy. it deserves, it is high reviews. next time I will definitely come back and recommend to all my colleagues.

bustling but quite fast. the food was nicely cooked. large chips were a decent size, but not as large as some places.
