we have visited the courtyard chase lounge for floorless small tellers three times in summer offer and are not disappointed! fantastic eating and drinking, amazing worth, great atmosphere and wonderful restaurant manager, chefs and waiting staff. the best culinary experience we had in a long time, and a great addition to the food offer in hereford. something that is appealing to all on the menu and great is that there are alternative drinks to half bottle wein per person if we are not her ding! have enjoyed all food options well. great place to come with family or friends. we just wish that this offer was to stay here, but we look forward to the already booked festive bottomless small plates table! to the nights that please bring back this and perhaps also take into account Fridays and Saturday evenings! it would be great to see a change in several of the dishes on the menu week in the week, but happy to see some of the most popular dishes stay also! Many thanks that all our visits really enjoyed.
The food was delicious but service was very slow. We booked to eat before seeing a performance and on the booking I specifically stated we needed to have finished eating before 8.30pm. We were at the table at 7pm but the food did not start arriving until around 7.50pm. This left us with around 30 mins to eat what we had ordered. This was a real shame because the food was really tasty and well presented, however it was too rushed and we didn’t finish. When ordering we were told that because the dishes were small plates they would be produced very quickly sadly this was not our experience. I hope that this review is seen as constructive criticism because we could not fault the food or the politeness of the staff if it is truly to be a pre show food venue the service will need to be much faster.
we had dinner here on the last Thursday evening of the “lower small plates” and the meal was fantastic. eating was very good and well cooked. service was good and overall we thought it was excellent value for money. we have already booked again to come to Christmas, which we are really looking forward to. it was the best meal we had eaten in a long time. the ambiente was characterized by the music, which was quite loud and not in harmony with the restaurant, but overall a fabulous evening.
