If you only take one thing away from this review, it's that this restaurant only accepts cash or checks - no credit or debit cards. This was a surprise to me, as we had just moved to the area and had been recommended this place by a few people. Despite my husband not being a fan of potatoes, he really enjoyed theirs. Although the menu didn't have hash as the reviews had mentioned, I ordered bacon and eggs and was pleasantly surprised to receive five pieces of delicious bacon. The sourdough bread was also excellent. Despite the busy atmosphere, we still received good service. The restaurant has a small, cozy feel with an open kitchen concept. Just be sure to have cash on hand when you visit!
I had the jerry’s special after asking what the waitress liked. this sign has not disappointed! the portions were very generous, in the did we skipped lunch and ate left overs to dinner! the meal was just as good hours later than rest! the service was top notch, never saw the floor of my coffee cup. I loved the retro feeling of the restaurant, it was retro without feeling old, tired and / or grimmy. that could be our new visit to the restaurant when they travel through nevada!
I came in with an open mind and left feeling like it was a huge mistake.The food was good for what they ordered. I don’t know if the waitresses were having a bad day but we had only encountered them taking our order, giving us our meal, then our check. No service at all. Didn’t even offer cream for my coffee. And get this. How do you wrongly calculate the bill by $10?! It was not even busy when we were there. Plenty of open seats they were more attentive to other patrons.
the first and last time. Listening as server is a good ability to have. obviously her mug must be empty and they must ask for a refill, not for her to take her empty. when they ask for a refill, they stop what the customer asked and do not bring them two separate drinks. oh, and please explain that $8,90 is added to the bill for these two false drinks. never again! The Breakfasts are pretty amazing and the service is on point. Never short on Coffee and the Chili Cheese Omelette is terrific! Only thing I would change is the thickness of bread used for French Toast. It’s too thickly sliced, making for an imbalance in the grilled toast/inner dough ratio. Otherwise, it’s good too!
plan they wait a bit because this place is very popular and good reason! good quality diner eat and we have never been disappointed. we thought we needed a lupe to see our portion of kartoffel salad, but with the way prices are understandable. I would highly recommend this place.
