Booked for x16 for a birthday lunch, we often go here as it's so good for the kids to play whilst the adults can chat. As we were a large group, I was asked to pre-order, I must confess to being very, stroppy, would be the best word for my reaction to this request as I reeeeally didn't want to rally x16 people to order in advance but I will say that Clive was extra polite and explained why and I have to say it worked very well, the food came at the requested time, all together and it is always a consistently good standard, the food portions are huge I would say and most importantly delicious! it's a nice place that was here a few times. eating was ok today, although it was excellent. very busy and under pressure. it will be expensive, however, from my price class for a pub lunch now unfortunately

Delicious and hearty food. It has a play area for kids and plenty of seating outdoors. The staff are very personable and made the experience even better. It is my third time and I'll definitely go again.

Lovely food, brilliant garden for kids and adults alike. The climbing frame and swings are fab. Service was superb too. We will definitely be back soon

This is a nice friendly pub. We were made to feel very welcome and the food was delicious. Recommended.
